Car Show

Summer of Thunder 2013

We are pleased to present the 5th Annual Garfield County Fair Car Show, Saturday, August 10th, Immediately following the parade. The car show is open to everyone! From the classic restoration and the
60’s muscle car, to today’s hi-tech zoomies, we invite all to participate. We welcome the young people with their hi-tech racers and grandpa with his favorite old sedan.

For early registrants, there is a $20.00 entry fee. Participants will receive a grab bag, t-shirt and dash plaque. Entry the day of the show is $25.00. Please RSVP early and save.

The show is sponsored by local area businesses and
individual sponsors. All early entries will also be allowed to enter the parade at no additional expense. The only stipulations are your vehicle must be street legal, and have proof of insurance. There can be no exhibition of speed (burn out or squealing tires) or you will be removed from the parade.

Prizes will be awarded to the top twenty cars. A Best of Show trophy will be awarded, and it will be determined by a panel of judges. A People’s Choice award trophy will also be given. There are door prizes for the participants. Much enjoyment is in store for all. Come look, talk, enjoy, but remember don’t touch.
