The 2009 Garfield County Fair saw an overall increase in attendance of about 15% over 2008. The CPRA rodeo saw an increase of over 14% and the Demolition Derby sold out. Concert attendance was down somewhat. Overall, the fair was a tremendous success and enjoyed by all participants and attendees.

2009 HERDSMAN AWARD
Presented by the Species Superintendents and Barn Superintendent, this award is given in recognition of contributions made to the 2009 Garfield County Fair Junior Livestock Show. In honor of these young people’s extra effort, sportsmanship and animal stewardship throughout the show, they will be awarded a savings bond courtesy of ALPINE BANK.
