Parade start time: 10AM, SATURDAY, AUGUST 6 ON RAILROAD AVENUE IN RIFLE

One of the most historic events in American history is the local parade. People of all ages enjoy lining up and down the street waiting to see which float is around the corner. Get there early and find a spot along the parade route to enjoy your favorite float. Or better yet, enter your group’s float, classic car, or marching band to be part of the parade.

Groups or people who participate in the parade can win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in each of five categories: float, vehicle, classic auto, marching unit, horse entry. Two honorable mention awards and the coveted, “Best of the Parade” will be awarded. Parade starts at 10:00 am. Register at coloradorivervalleychamber.com contact the Chamber at 970-625-2085.
